Stable menu

From this menu you may purchase upgrades to improve your stable and/or modify some stable settings.

The stable graphic changes as you buy add-ons.

By rolling your mouse over the desired stable add-on a pop-up will appear with some more information on that add-on.

In addition to any benefits displayed if you are playing the game mode that includes AI owners then you should be aware that the more impressive your stable looks the more likely owners are to be tempted to ship their horses to you. Also note the BOOK STABLE OPEN DAY option. This is a great way of attracting new owners!

The Stable improvements are mostly self explanatory. Note that players may extend their Stables to take more horses up to a maximum of 100 horses. The breeding barn is separate from the main stables and is extended automatically as horses are retired.

Here are some examples:
Players cannot breed from any of their horses unless the breeding facilities are purchased first.

Players cannot gallop their horses on All-weather/dirt unless the all-weather gallops are purchased.

Players cannot gallop their horses over obstacles or view their horses jump stats unless the jumps gallops are purchased.

Note that players may not go into debt to purchase any of the listed upgrades.

You may change some stable related SETTINGS (top, right screen). The changes will be reflected in the Weekly Bills totals. The weekly bills are deducted automatically.

In order to view the PADDOCK screen on race day you must select the HIGH staff level.

The Paddock/Start assistant can be hired to help calm nervous or highly strung horses in the paddock and on the way to the start. See the instructions for more information on horse temperament. The assistants fee is charged per race.

In any game mode if you ever require a bank loan you will be offered more funds if you have built up your stable.

The additional STABLE SETTINGS options are positioned below the stable graphic. All settings on this page will have some kind of effect on the game.

If you are playing the AI owners mode then you can also set the TRAINING FEES including the percentage cut you take of any horses winnings. Be careful here though if you set too high and are not performing well owners may take their horses elsewhere.
